The skin's oil glands enlarge and make more or a substance called sebum, which can lead to acne.

Treatment options include things like diet, OTC products and specific dermatology products such as Skin Care Solutions. Other options include chemical peel treatment, prescription drugs and photodynamic therapy. Your doctor will pick a regimen specific to you and your needs. OTC acne treatment products include specially formulated skin cleansers and purifying wipes.
